Legible London
Green infrastructure and open environments: The all London green grid. Supplementary planning guidance, published by the Mayor of London in March 2012, suggests that Legible London: ‘…is a pedestrian wayfinding system of maps, directional signs and street furniture that has been developed to help and encourage people to walk around the capital of London. It is a programme that has been established by Transport for London and is working with local boroughs, Business Improvement Districts and other landowners to expand the system across the city.’
